PayPal

If you're hoping to sell products from your website, you'll need to provide a secure way for prospective customers to order and pay for your goods. There are several ways of providing that. The one I've used most is PayPal, one of the most widely used transaction services online. You would need to set up an account with them, which you may already have if you do much shopping online. Then I can set up PayPal-generated drop-down menus and shopping cart icons on your site. The customer orders the products from your site and then pays online with a credit card. The funds are deposited into an account on the PayPal website. Those funds can be directly transferred to your bank account or left in the PayPal account until a sufficient balance is accrued. If you leave a balance with PayPal you can use those funds to shop online yourself.
